Mounted Sprayers

Our wide range of Mounted Sprayers are ingeniously designed for diverse plant protective applications such as pesticides and liquid fertilizers. These mounted Sprayers are specially useful in carrying out the application processes in difficult area conditions and smaller & congested areas, where it is impossible or uneconomical to use the trailed sprayers (having bigger size).
Tank capacity of the mounted sprayers varies between 500 and 2000L, which may be divided between one or more tanks. Mounted Sprayers are used particularly to spray chemicals over row crops. These need more energy than the trailed sprayers having the same characteristics. The lift capacity and the longitudinal equilibrium of the tractor are the major limitations of mounted tractors. Hitching and unhitching of mounted sprayers are also more complicated than for the trailed machines. For this reason, a tractor is often solely dedicated to the spraying operations during a complete spraying campaign. We offer a wide variety of Mounted Sprayers in varying sizes, working facilities and finishes.
Mounted Sprayers are entirely supported by the tractor. The tanks may be mounted either on the rear three-point hitch system, at the front of the tractor by means of a frame scrupulously designed for this purpose, or on each side of the tractor (saddle tanks) between the front and rear axle. Sprayers mounted on the back are less expensive, more maneuverable in the field, and easier to hitch to the tractor. However, the capacity of the tank is limited both by the loading capacity of the rear axle of the tractor, and by weight transfer considerations. Sprayers mounted at the front allow for the simultaneous operations of other implements; tillage tools for single-pass incorporation of pesticides, seeding equipment coupled with spraying of pesticides or liquid fertilizers, and cultivation tools in row crops. However, the front tires of the tractor have to be larger to avoid excessive soil compaction. Saddle tank sprayers are also very maneuverable in the fields and present similar advantages to those of front mounted sprayers. The main disadvantage of the mounted sprayers is related to the mounting of the tanks, that can be very time-consuming.
