Rootcrop Harvesting Machine

Traditionally, the Rootcrops are harvested using diggers and digger-pickers. But now-a days, several types of Rootcrop Harvesting Machines are available in the market, the sugar-beet harvester being the most popular example of the modern root crop harvesting machines.
The combine harvester used for harvesting grains are different from the machine used for vegetables, although the manufacturers strive to make the machines more interchangeable through modifications and innovation. Root crops like potatoes are harvested with diggers, which generally pull up rocks and unwanted vegetation together with the potatoes. Some harvesting machines can sort this trash out, while other machines carry people who sort it by hand. The modern sugar-beet harvesters lift the whole root from the ground, clean it, and deliver it to a bin. Vegetable crops like broccoli, celery, asparagus, lettuce and cabbage are still harvested manually to a large extent.
